Hi, I'm Dorothy.

I make complicated things make sense.

Part strategist, part storyteller, part hands-on creator. I bring learning, writing, and design together to create experiences that are clear, engaging, and genuinely useful.

Big ideas. Messy problems. Better experiences.

Every good project starts with a problem worth solving. Here are a few of my favorites.

"Our people need to learn something new"

Great learning isn't about how much information you can squeeze into a course. It's about what people can actually do afterward.

I turn complex information into practical learning experiences that help people build skills, solve problems, and perform with confidence. From onboarding and interactive eLearning to workshops and performance support, I design with the learner and the real-world outcome in mind.

How I Make it Happen

01

Find the need

02

Design the experience

03

Make it stick

Understand the audience, performance gap, and desired outcome.

Turn complex information into relevant, engaging learning.

Create opportunities for practice, application, and continued support.

"We need people to stop scrolling and pay attention."

Good design does more than look nice. It gives people a reason to look closer, helps them understand what's important, and makes the message stick.

I combine visual storytelling, graphic design, and a little creative experimentation to turn ideas into something people actually want to engage with. Whether I'm designing an advertisement, developing a brand identity, or creating multimedia content, I balance creativity with purpose. Because the prettiest design in the world doesn't mean much if it misses the point.

How I Make it Happen

01

Find the story

02

Make it visual

03

Make it memorable

Identify the message, audience, and creative direction that will make the biggest impact.

Use thoughtful layouts, imagery, typography, and design to bring the idea to life.

Create something distinctive, cohesive, and worth a second look.

"We have something to say, but can't find the words."

Good communication isn't about using bigger words. It's about finding the right ones.

I write to make ideas clearer, stories more compelling, and information easier to act on. From articles and marketing copy to video scripts and internal communications, I adapt my voice to the audience and the message. Sometimes that means being polished and professional. Sometimes it means being conversational, clever, or just a little unexpected. The goal is always the same: make the message mean something to the person receiving it.

How I Make it Happen

01

Know the audience

02

Find the words

03

Make it connect

Understand who I'm speaking to, what matters to them, and what they need to know.

Shape the message with clear language, purposeful structure, and the right tone.

Create content that informs, resonates, and inspires people to think or act.

"We know something isn't working."

Sometimes the hardest part of solving a problem is figuring out what the problem actually is.

I work with stakeholders to untangle complicated challenges, question assumptions, and identify what's getting in the way. Then I connect the dots between business goals, audience needs, and practical solutions. I love the creative work, but I also know when to put down the design tools and ask a few more questions. Because sometimes the answer isn't another course, a new process, or a prettier PowerPoint. It's understanding what needs to change in the first place.

How I Make it Happen

01

Ask better questions

Challenge assumptions, uncover root causes, and understand what success should look like.

02

Connect the dots

Bring together business priorities, stakeholder perspectives, and audience needs.

03

Build what's needed

Recommend practical, sustainable solutions that address the real challenge.
